How confident are you in your translations? When it comes to communication context is crucial. Unfortunately, sometimes that context gets lost in translation.
I’m Paula Zucherelli, Argentinian by birth, an Irish citizen by choice. I’ve worked as a professional translator since 1998. During my translation studies I found my vocation in teaching both Spanish and English. Witnessing my students’ progress and their growing confidence in their communication skills is a thrill that never gets old. So I’ve continued teaching and mentoring even as my translation career took off.
While I have worked for translation agencies, I have also grown my personal client base. So, shortly after moving to Dublin in 2013 with my Irish husband, I set up Dublin 6 Language Services. We’ve worked with marketing agencies (in-house and external), multinationals and small and medium enterprises. If your business has something worth saying in another language, you need to be sure that the translation is accurate.
While Spanish is the most widely spoken language in Latin America, it is used very differently depending on the country. We ensure that every text we translate is both accurate and appropriate for its intended audience. You put time and effort into creating technical materials and marketing messages in English for your business.
We’ll work just as hard to ensure that those messages are clear, coherent and memorable for the local Spanish language market.
If you need to sell your product/service in a specific market, we count on colleagues throughout Latin America, who conduct localization checks to confirm that the translation has the intended impact. The majority of our work has been related to Spanish translations for Latin American countries. However, we’ve also participated in the reverse, translating technical projects from Spanish into English.
